The City of Coventry Ambassadors Group is the only organisation within the UK officially empowered to market and guide the evolution of its city through an international membership of leaders representing every spectrum of the public and private sector community.
The City of Coventry Ambassadors’ Group consists of around 250 achievers across the widest possible spectrum; Business, Sport, Culture and the Arts, Public and Private Sectors, the clergy, services and academia are all represented.
It isn’t the “top 250 CEOs” nor is it a list of the wealthiest Coventrians. The Ambassadors Group is full of people that have strove to achieve and succeeded from all backgrounds but importantly have a “glass half full” attitude. They have experience that a city like ours should be able to tap into but most importantly they encompass the desire to see the city punch to, and indeed above, it’s weight.
Coventry is the 11th biggest City in the United Kingdom but doesn’t always act like it. The Ambassadors Group is aware of that and, being full of people that aren’t used to mediocrity, sets about ways of doing things about it.
