HQ Project
To concentrate attention on wooing commercial, governmental or other major organisations to relocate their headquarters to the city centre and use the attraction of a landmark building to house them.
A start has already been made with Radisson Edwardian and Ikea coming to the City Centre. Success breeds success and the attraction of these brands should inevitably pull others in our direction.
The project would build on the momentum of the Lyons Report which advocates moving government departments out of London to the regions.
